I’m Charlie and I’m a Lead Guitarist based in Bicester, with a passion for classic rock, improvisation and creative music production.

Playing guitar since the age of 15, I’ve been mostly self taught reaching a high standard, with improvisation and expressive soloing at the heart of my style.

Inspired by legendary acts such as Guns N’ Roses, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Alice in Chains, I bring a classic rock influence to everything I write and play.

I studied the Extended L3 Diploma in Music Production and Performance at City of Oxford College where I developed a range of skills in performing. I also realised I was passionate about songwriting, producing, mixing and mastering, which led to the releasing the first EP in May 2025 with the band iCharlie .

I play lead guitar in a local function band called Noize, covering a range of genres and throwing in a few originals.

Recently, I have started teaching beginners guitar, sharing my skills and enthusiasm with a new generation of players.
